Interposition can take place in various forms. One form is when the executive office of a state stands in interposition against the lawless acts of the federal judiciary. The Attorney General of a state is an executive office. Sam McLure is running for Attorney General in Alabama and is promising interposition for the preborn. The fury of wicked men has been unleashed against him because of it as is evidenced by his Facebook page.
The U. S. Supreme Court issued an unjust, immoral court opinion in the Roe v. Wade case. For 44 years now, all state’s attorney generals have gone along with this injustice rather than do their duty and defy the Supreme Court. How does an Attorney General interpose? By upholding the laws of the state and ignoring the Court’s unjust/immoral opinion. Sam McLure promises to do his duty and uphold Alabama law.
The belief that all other branches of government have to do whatever the Supreme Court says is a fiction.
Men and women who love Christ and their neighbor need to rally to this candidate. We should give of our substance, of our lives, of our prayers for this effort he has undertaken.
